WRITING IN THE FIRST PERSON
Writing sentences in the first person means to use “ I ” in your sentences rather than your name.
For example: in your personal profile write "I am an energetic, forward thinking person ..... etc"
rather then "Christine Shorrocks is an energetic, forward thinking individual ...etc"
This makes it more personal but avoid beginning every sentence and/or paragraph with the word " I."
For instance, instead of writing "I supervise 15 workers at MacDonald’s," write "At MacDonald’s, I supervise 15 workers."
This does not mean that you never begin a sentence or paragraph with "I," but it does mean that you need to limit how often you do.
