• First impressions count ~ be well groomed, with tidy appearance, clothes, shoes and good personal hygiene

• Obtain the details about the job and the employer from us

• Make sure you know you can get there comfortably

• Ask us for the key skills needed and be sure you can demonstrate how you meet these

• Be prepared ... Think about what you can offer an employer by way of skills, experience, qualifications and attitude

• Take references from previous jobs and examples of your work if you have any (take them in a suitable case or folder)

• Ask for company literature from the employer and check their website

• Practice a good positive handshake and smile

• Let the interviewer talk and show that you are listening
